OK, I FIGURED OUT THIS NEW JOURNAL SYSTEM NOW. LOL! NO TIME TO MAKE A REAL EDIT, BUT THE CONTEST MENTIONED HERE IS OVER NOW. IT JUST ENDED LAST WEEK. JUST AN FYI.

Been a long time since I've done anything on here. My son, Lucien, started school last year, & we've been busy ever since. I homeschool him. Hard to believe he's 6 already, & in the 1rst grade!! He's learning about the 3 forms of matter, Ancient Egypt, 3 numbered equations in Math, how to use lines properly in Art, melodic direction in Music, digital art in Photoshop.....& he can read & write now. And that's just in the past 2 wks. My Dad got him a microscope for Christmas last year, so we've been doing alot with that also. He is in 2 Clubs in school, which meets once a month online. The Science Club, (which is all things in general related to Science & Technology), & the Reptiles Club, (which is all things reptiles, amphibians, spiders & snails, etc.) He wants a lizard of some sort, & a gecko, but I don't think he's able to handle it just yet. So, he has a dog named Carter, & a cat named Sly. He earns a certificate every day that he does well in school. When he gets 20 a month, I take him somewhere special. Sort of like a field trip. It was the only way I could get him to always do his school right. He started acting like he didn't know things, & I was getting irritated. He also earns an allowance of $30 a month now. It's $14 every 2 wks, for keeping his room clean, his toys organized, & his stuff picked up from the rest of the house at the end of the day.

I started playing World of Warcraft about 2 yrs ago, & have had a hard time getting back into Digital Art & making jewelry. I'm starting to feel the itch to start back up again though. There is so much talent around on Facebook, seems like my jaw hits the floor at least 2 or 3 times a day. Lol!

Not much else to tell. The economy sucks, big time. Having only one income coming in is tough, but Lucien being ahead at his age right now is worth it. For those of you still watching me, I'm not speaking to my mother any more. When she calls, she calls to speak to Lucien, but I put her on speaker phone. A few months ago, Lucien & I went to Tx for a month, & stayed with her for a week & 1/2. Trying once again to have a decent relationship with her. However, she chose to change clothes, from nudity to dressed, with her bedroom door wide open. All Luc had to do to see was stand up & turn around. I voiced my concern & upset at it, & she did it another 2 times, so needless to say....it's unforgivable & selfish of her. She also kept her thermostat jacked up to 85 during 110 degree weather while she was at work, & didn't even take any vacation time while we were there. She wanted to save that time of hers for going to a beach at a later date. O.O Yeah. And that's after staying on me for 2 yrs. to bring her grandson to Tx for a visit.
